What are YOU thankful for this week?
What am I thankful for this week: lessons learnt during Bible study (such as 'Tongue on the loose!'); a hard working husband, beautiful sunsets, gorgeous weather (it's gone now but it was gorgeous a few days ago)! Also, meeting lots of Christ-centred Christians on the www - it's been a real encouragement since discovering link up sites (... and I've only been blogging for 2 + years - dohhh - what planet have I been on)??? Anyway, I feel like a kid in a sweety shop now being being able to visit so many fabulous sites - yours included!

ReplyDeleteJus thought you'd like to know you've INSPIRED me to begin donating to an organization called Heifer International. Laura's post about Sponsoring a Child struck a chord with me, but after much prayer and chats with my hubby & pastor, I think Heifer is a better fit for our current financial situation. Can't WAIT til the end of June, when I'll be able to "buy" a flock of chicks & a beehive! Then, in 2 1/2 months, I'll buy a goat or pig, and I'll ask for shares of a water buffalo for my b-day & CHRISTmas. Soon, I'll have donated a whole menagerie. Anyway, THANKS for helping me focus on other's needs & explore the opportunities on webland for me to give!!
